From November 30, 2024, to December 31, 2025, China is allowing travelers from 38 countries to visit without a visa for up to 30 days. This applies to people with regular passports coming for tourism, business, family visits, exchange programs, or transit. If someone doesn’t meet these conditions, they still need a visa. The list of countries is: Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Malaysia, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Australia, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, South Korea, Thailand, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Japan.
