The global climate risk index 2020 is shown below. The KRI analyzes the quantitative effects of extreme weather events in terms of both fatalities and economic damage, based on the globally recognized Munich Re NatCatSERVICE database. The extreme weather events of 2018 and for the period 1999 to 2018 are recorded in the KRI 2020.

The following list is based on the global climate risk index 2020 (for the years 1999 to 2018). The countries listed here are those that show a low risk of natural disasters on the one hand and are recommended for immigration on the other. If you want the highest level of security, only category A is recommended. We have removed countries with an increased earthquake risk (e.g. Chile, Japan, New Zealand).
